Lemon garlic butter chicken thighs and green beans skillet

Here's a recipe for Lemon Garlic Butter Chicken Thighs and Green Beans Skillet:



Ingredients:


4 bone-in chicken thighs

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp butter

1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed

4 cloves garlic, minced

Juice of 1 lemon

1/4 cup chicken broth

2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions:


Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides.


Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken thighs to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.


Add the butter to the skillet and let it melt. Add the green beans to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until tender-crisp.


Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.


Add the lemon juice and chicken broth to the skillet and stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer.


Add the chicken thighs back to the skillet, nestling them in with the green beans. Spoon some of the lemon garlic butter sauce over the chicken.


Cover the skillet and let the chicken and green beans cook in the sauce for 5-10 minutes, or until the chicken is heated through and the green beans are cooked to your liking.


Sprinkle chopped parsley over the top of the skillet.


Serve the lemon garlic butter chicken thighs and green beans hot, with additional lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the top, if desired.
